HARD_BREAK </3 is a collective breakup ritual – part karaoke stage, part techno club, part rage room. Breakup is explored as a performative and choreographic practice: The space pulses with fractured movements, looping gestures, smashing and tender reassembling. Starting from romantic breakup, the performance addresses much bigger, necessary breakups: with toxic patterns, neoliberal imperatives and the longing for the “good old days.”

A performer is standing in the forest, on an old root. She moves toward the camera, her gaze directed into the distance. A red beam of light shines on her.
