This autumn marks the 30th anniversary of the German Reunion. The author Max Czollek (»Disintegrate!«, 2018) counters the image of a harmonious »German unity« with the provocative assertion of a »Jewish-Muslim hegemonic culture«, which invites us to a different narrative of German history and society. In the decentral congress »Tage der jüdisch-muslimischen Leitkultur«, with a series of events at over 20 theatres, Czollek draws attention to the radical diversity that constitutes German society. Kampnagel theatre participates in the congress with a series of events. As the local opening, Max Czollek is reading from his new book »Gegenwartsbewältigung« (2020). In the following panel discussion, he is joined by artist Perel and researcher and activist Leyla Jagiella to discuss the intersection of art, history and resistance, possible strategies of complex intersectionality, and the big question of the revolution.
