RAVE LUCID is a captivating tribute to Electro Dance – France’s first urban dance style, which originated in Parisian clubs in the 2000s and spread worldwide via the internet. To the intense rhythms of electro, house, and techno music, played at more than 120 beats per minute and requiring relentless concentration and control from the performers, ten virtuoso dancers create a unique electro ballet with a high-energy and compelling choreography. They combine the intense beats with precise, graphic movements and celebrate the beauty of Electro Dance and the power of community in a pulsating, collective rave.

Mazelfreten is the acclaimed company of Laura Defretin, a hip-hop dancer, and Brandon Masele, an electro dancer and world champion in this discipline. Since 2016, they have fused electro and hip-hop cultures in their choreographies, creating their own distinctive movement language. Their work is inspired by the world of battles and are performed throughout Europe. In addition to their own productions, they develop choreography for music videos, advertising campaigns, and haute couture shows for major fashion brands.
