Recognising trans hostility / T and the media
The two-part workshop with speaker and anti-discrimination trainer Mine Pleasure Bouvar Wenzel offers the opportunity to deal with your own perception of trans hostility as well as issues relating to the portrayal of transness. The two workshop parts ‘Recognising trans hostility’ (THU 21.01.) and ‘T and the media’ (WED 22.01.) complement each other in terms of content, but can also be attended individually. The workshop is aimed at anyone who would like to sensitise themselves to the topic of transness.
The two workshops are about dealing with trans hostility and deconstructing trans-hostile narratives and images. They will also address racism, anti-Semitism and other forms of sexist oppression in addition to trans hostility.
