The artists' collective Mobile Albania has been traveling Germany and Europe since 2009, sometimes on foot, sometimes in motorized vehicles. Their aesthetic has developed from being on the road: analog, improvised and inviting. With the INNERSTÄDTISCH WANDERVEREIN, Mobile Albania is blazing a trail where none yet exists: on the smallest of paths, it goes on foot through backyards, over fences, through gardens, or sometimes high up to new vistas of the division of urban space. Everyone is invited to the playful conquest of the street network beyond the concreted lanes. A new cartography with its own laws emerges, which, fed by the historical and the fictional, spans the city's established network of paths.
