A shipwrecked man is rescued by a beautiful and mysterious woman who takes him to the last remaining piece of land on Earth. Stripped of its vegetation and populated by the ghosts of its former inhabitants, the island is ruled by a despotic royal couple who make the castaway their prisoner. The theater works of the New York-based Nature Theater Of Oklahoma are characterized by the principle of maximal formalization, in which genre and formal language always vary and encounter readymade materials, donated objects, overheard conversations, the everyday and the accidental.
