NDR Bigband

Artists have always been inspired by the endless vastness of space and numerous science fiction films are inconceivable without the music of Johann Strauss, György Ligeti, John Williams or Johann Sebastian Bach. For the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, the Danish composer, conductor and saxophonist Lars Møller mixes these musical sources into an intergalactic big band work that combines heavy grooves and big band powerplay with extensive and transparent sounds.
