Gwilym Simcock, who was born in Wales in 1981, is without a doubt one of the most in-demand musicians working in classical and jazz today. He is also the current NDR Bigband composer in residence. At Kampnagel, he presents the premiere of his new work »The Sawgrass Suite«. He himself will play the piano, accompanied by the NDR Bigband led by Geir Lysne.
