Neuland Concerts und Diogenes: Benedict Wells & Jacob Brass

It was to be expected that Benedict Wells' book presentation would sell out quickly. After all, the pop star of contemporary literature, whose books are published by the Swiss publishing house Diogenes, has been on the Spiegel bestseller list for a year and a half and has been increasing the quality of his books on the shelves of railway station bookshops ever since. This is also the case with his latest book »Hard Land« - the story of a summer and a homage to 80s coming-of-age films. The book not only has its own website, but also a Spotify playlist by the author that sums up the 80s sound of schmaltz and sad disco. Consequently, Wells is now bringing his book live to the stage not as a pure reading, but with the singing songwriter Jacob Brass and songs from his almost new album »Circletown«. And of course this concert reading is called what it should be called: »Hard Land Club Tour - Autumn 2021«.
