The Berlin-based music theatre ensemble Nico and the Navigators began to work together in Berlin’s Sophiensælen in 1998 where they were »artists in residence« under the artistic direction of Amelie Deuflhard for seven influential years. With their piece DIE ZUKUNFT VON GESTERN Nico and the Navigators celebrate their 20th anniversary. For their performance, they draw from an archive of human images, visionary scenography, and fluid forms of presentation – as well as incentives from their own biographies.
