French choreographer Olivier Dubois presents his version of the tragedy of mankind: eighteen dancers perform extremely formal and physical choreography in three big movements, starting with marching formations and building to a communal frenzy. TRAGÉDIE goes from minimal excess to images of major pathos – simply powerful theatre, physically exhausting as well as extremely touching.
