Plastiq & Love-Songs

A double concert with two bands that comprehend music as an extended art form and have been shaping Kampnagel's program for quite some time: The trio plastiq (Raphaela Andrade Cordova, Lena Geue, Luka Lenzin) creates concert happenings with improvisations from analog and digital sounds. The three combine voice, synthesizer, electronic beats and acoustic instruments to create spatial sound stagings in which the trio's different spheres of activity become audible and visible: Video, film, installation, performance, scenography and theater forms the basis for plastiq's ethereal music universe.

The electro-acoustic band Love-Songs, in turn, was founded in 2012 by Thomas Korf, Sebastian Kokus and Manuel Chittka and combines the compositional freedom of jazz with Krautrock quotations and a sense for pop aesthetics. After releases on their own and on the Cologne label Kame House, they released their debut album »Nicht Nicht« in 2020 and recently the album »Spannende Musik« in collaboration with U. Schütte on the Hamburg qualitiy label Bureau B. On this evening they celebrate their meanwhile tenth anniversary.
