Official statement of the band: »This year Genesis P Orridge has had some major struggles with her health. During the last 2 months she has been hospitalized more than once. Her doctors have decided she should not travel at the present time in order to recover fully. Therefore all upcoming European dates will be postponed to 2018. We will announce once we know more.«Former announcement of the concert: Psychic TV, the follow-up project by the legendary industrial co-founder Throbbing Gristle, is considered one of the most important underground bands of the last thirty years. Their cult-like appearance, drastic live performances and an openly propagated liking for S/M practices were staged breaches of taboo that reflected society’s violence; they influenced the pop and art world up until today. After numerous transformations, the band has now arrived at psychedelic rock after stages in industrial, ambient and techno; they are coming to Hamburg for a rare concert.

According to the concert we will show the film »The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye« by Marie Losier in cooperation with the new concert series »Kammer-Pop« by Florian Bräunlich and Felix Kubin. This documentary tells the intense (love-)story between Genesis P. Orridge and Lady Jaye, who died in 2007 and also provides an insight into the complex artistic universe of Psychic TV and their former bands Throbbing Gristle and COUM Transmission.
