Mark your Calenders! We’re inviting singers and instrumentalists to our first ever **QUEER JAM SESSION** on April 1, 2023 at 10:00 p.m! The band for the evening will consist of the wonderful musicians Christin Neddens on drums, Pachakuti on keys and Noah Slee on guitar. The jam session will also be moderated by singer-songwriter FAYIM. If you want to perform on stage, get in touch here and spread the word!

FAYIM is a singer-songwriter living in Berlin. In his music he combines a love for R&B, pop, soul, gospel and jazz with German lyrics that center his life reality(s) as a Black, queer man in Germany. Since 2020, he has been creating spaces for and with other marginalized people through FORMATION NOW**. Additionally, he is involved in the Berlin vocal ensemble "A Song For You", whose debut album will be released in 2023.

Growing up between worlds in life as well as musically, Pachakuti first made himself heard as a multi-instrumentalist and producer in 2020: His instrumental hip hop album "Semilla" with young.vishnu was released on Melting Pot Music and traced his family roots in Colombia. The artist, who lives and works between Hildesheim and Berlin, prefers to express himself on piano and saxophone and does this not only solo, but also as a member of Sonic Interventions and the New Love Experience, as well as in the bands of Douniah and Laíz. His follow-up album "Dédalo" was released in 2022 as a double LP and tells the story of losing and finding one's way again in symbols and metaphors, and became part of the Best Jazz 2022 Selection on Spotify. His latest beat series with young.vishnu has been released on Besser Samstag since the beginning of the year.
