A MULTI-PLAYER-VIDEO PIECE

SITUATION ROOMS by Berlin theatre group Rimini Protokoll takes 20 people from different continents, whose life stories involve weapons, and brings them together in a multi-perspective video piece. The audience moves through a simultaneously virtual and real film set, which takes up the globalised world of assault rifles and drones, of rulers and refugees and becomes a course of unexpected neighbourhoods and intersections. They make their way on individual journeys through the spatial and textual labyrinth of the piece and themselves become part of the reenactment of a complex, elaborate »shoot«.
