Long Night

The concept is simple but reveals new surprises each year. Because the festival presents here in all three halls mostly premieres from the local Hamburg scene as well as from international guests. KLUB KATARAKT continues again in 2015 the cooperation with the KurzFilmAgentur Hamburg, showing latest experimental short films as part of the programm. As a special act Dutch trio Telcosystems will present an audiovisual live performance. The experimental works of this trio melt the auditive and visual layers in a single deep spatial experience which plays with the limits of our perception and capacity. For this years closing party KLUB KATARAKT gets support from Hamburg’s Golden Pudel Club: the two vinyl lovers Viktor Marek and Booty Carrell aka Sebastian Reier play a wild selection of spectacular sonic products from all over the world: inter alia Iranian funk, Hungarian hard rock and Southern French disco.
