Disabled bodies have for too long only been used in theater to represent Otherness. For his new work, DIS_SYLPHIDE, choreographer Saša Asentić has assembled a team of people with and without disabilities to explore the aesthetic regimes of dance history. The performers make the material by three iconic choreographers of the 20th century German dance scene their own, in order to develop their own personal aesthetic and create public images of disabilities.
