Just in time for the beginning of the pandemic, Lyra Pramuk released her debut album “Fountain” – which could not have been more intimate. The classically trained musician, who grew up in Pennsylvania and socialized in the Berlin techno scene, composed her album solely from her own voice, which was looped and sampled to create an entire universe of voices and emotions: a redefinition of music, rhythms, language, body and the relationship between technology and humans; and the soundtrack for a posthuman understanding of life and its fragile ecosystems. In 2021, “Delta” was released, also on the Icelandic experimental label Bedroom Community. It features interpretations
of the “Fountain” pieces by other musicians, including composer Caterina Barbieri, with whom Pramuk last performed together at Elbphilharmonie
(and who plays the festival closing concert and composes music for Gisèle Vienne’s piece). In the Kampnagel club Pramuk (who is currently also working on projects with (LA)HORDE), plays her first solo Hamburg concert. Afterwards, the night and floor will be taken over by SLIC Unit, the Hamburg-Berlin collective for empowering club culture. Line Up: yung_womb, Jaxx TMS, Slimgirl fat (also member of Gaddafi Gals) and Nissa with an extra showcase.
