The picture shows two people sitting on the semicircular forest stage in the festival garden. In front of them, about 50 people sit on stone seating blocks and listen intently. The garden is overgrown with grass and green bushes and covered on top.

Josephine Apraku has unfortunately fallen ill at short notice, so the reading is cancelled. Instead we could engage the great musician Abed Harsony for a concert at short notice!

Concert 6:30pm

Abed Harsony completed his music studies in Syria and has been working as a musician, singer and composer since 2010. In his collaboration with the orchestra Ensemble Reflektor, as well as the New Chamber Orchestra Bremen, he creates a connection between classical and oriental music, which is also noticeable in his work with Abarra, the Trio d'Iroise and the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover. For several years now, he has repeatedly participated in projects at the Thalia Theater and at Kampnagel and can also be seen in the production of "Nabucco" at the Hamburg State Opera.

Concert 8:30pm

Elshan Ghasimi draws on the tradition and practiceof the Radıf: a repertoire of classical Persian music that has been conveyed through years of immersion and contemplation and that she is the first female musician to reinterpret. Her own compositions combine poetry and conceptual art with the individual engagement with her counterpart to create a moving encounter at eye level.
