Priya Guns is an actor and writer previously published in Spring magazine, and anonymously in The Guardian. She is a Creative Writing graduate from Kingston University. »Your Driver Is Waiting« (in German »Dein Taxi ist da«, Blumenbar) is her debut novel. It tells the story of a driver named Damani who is Tamil, queer, straining to make ends meet, and driving for a living, but she hopes not a life – in an unnamed North American city that roils with protests, squashed dreams and parttime gigs.

Concert

Saliou Sissockho is maker and player of the kora, a West African harp. The sound of the kora fills every room and body with fine, soulful and meditative vibration. It is said that no one comes to the kora, the kora decides who comes to it. As a griot, Saliou is carrying on the legacy of his family and ancestors through music, myths,
satire and poetry.
