Under the name Bedouin Burger, Syrian singer Lynn Adib and Lebanese multi-instrumentalist Zeid Hamdan combine Syrian and Lebanese folk music with innovative electronics. Their captivating music features intricate rhythms, emotive vocals and energetic beats, blending the nomadic souls of the Bedouin people with the fast-paced spirit of modern times. With their innovative fusion of Arabic poetry set to soulful, often nomadic-jazzy, and electronic beats from the Levant, they fill dance floors in clubs and concert halls worldwide. Singles such as "Taht El Wared" (Among the Roses) and "Dabkehh", have made them rising stars in the electronic music scene from the Middle East, performing at the NPR Tiny Desk Concert and Global Fest in New York City. Now, they are set to perform at Kampnagel Summer Festival, where DIARFEST will further emphasize the celebratory essence of the Arab cultural heritage after their concert. Founded by Hamburg artist Hanadi Chawaf and designer Osama Horani, DIARFEST showcases art from the SWANA region (Southwest Asia and North Africa). At Summer Festival, you are invited to dance to global beats by Hamburg-born Afghan DJ TAĪĪZ, Hamburg-based Egyptian DJ Wezza and DJ Samar.
