Shelly Belly

This workshop with legendary dancer and choreographer Shelly Belly focuses on the basics of dancehall, its characteristic moves, and original choreographies created by Shelly Belly himself. The workshop is open to all levels and is also suitable for beginners.

Shelly Belly was crowned Dancing King at the Yard and Abroad A Knock E Ball event on Lyndhurst Road in Jamaica in 2022, honoring his 23-year career in the dancehall scene. He is an internationally recognized creator and founder of several famous dance moves, including Cow Foot, Shelly Belly, Nineties Rock, Spin the Chain, Step Pass Dem, Belle Belle, and Tek Ova. Vybz Kartel, known as the “King of Dancehall,” publicly declared that Shelly Belly is the true “Dancing King” and deserves due recognition for his tireless dedication to dancehall culture.
