Syria with Love

Since the fall of the Syrian regime in December 2024 marked an important milestone in the revolutionary goals, the celebration of the anniversary of the Syrian revolution has taken on a different character for the first time this year. Kampnagel and Thalia Theater are jointly organising a programme to reflect. There will be two live concerts at Kampnagel: the band Neshama will fuse traditional with contemporary music and take up song lyrics that were sung in the demos during the Syrian revolution. The music duo Sharake mixes traditional melodies with techno tunes. Afterwards, DJ Anas plays a wide range of songs. A panel discussion with the actors Amal Omran, Mohammed Al Rashi and other guests will take place in the Thalia Theatre. Musical contributions will be provided by the Orsina choir and Syrian musicians Yazan Sabbagh and Basilios Awad. The detailed program will be here soon and at thalia-theater.de
