Tara Transitory

The sound and concept artist Tara Transitory is one of the most active personalities in the transgender community in Southeast Asia. In her experimental music project One Man Nation, she develops a transgressive club sound, which goes beyond all gender categorization and inherited traditions with field recordings, speech samples, melancholic synthesizers and brutal beats. Her performances are musical rituals that regularly bring the audience into collective states of trance.
