The Young Classx

The Young ClassX annual concert is a firm fixture in the music initiative's calendar. At the end of the school year, around 500 children and young people from all corners of Hamburg come together to showcase their enthusiasm, commitment and music on stage. Singers from over 20 schools meet musicians from three orchestras and an audience that is eagerly awaiting this event. The repertoire ranges from classical to popular music and does not care about genre boundaries. An evening full of joy and enthusiasm - welcome! Initiated in 2008 by the Otto Group and Salut Salon, The Young ClassX has now reached over 30,000 children and young people. The music promotion program has received several awards throughout Germany and is under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Michael Otto, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Otto Group, and Dr. Peter Tschentscher, First Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
