On June 5, 2021, the Fonds Darstellende Künste will host the online event »TRANSFORMATIONEN - Gespräche und Positionen aus den Freien Darstellenden Künsten« (»TRANSFORMATION - Talks and Positions from the Independent Performing Arts«) as part of the festival »Claiming Common Spaces III« of the Alliance of International Production Houses at Kampnagel to question the potential for change and changes in the framework conditions of independent production with actors from the independent performing arts.
The discussion round with Stefan Kaegi (Rimini Protokoll), Sahar Rahimi (Monster Truck), Sibylle Peters (geheimagentur), kainkollektiv and others, focuses on the artistic perspective and asks once again »What does art need?«.
The discussion will be moderated by Margarita Tsomou.
This live talk (via Zoom) launches a series of events and discussions around the Fund's publication »TRANSFORMATIONEN - Positionen zur Veränderung der Kunst- und Kulturlandschaft aus Kunst, Politik, und Journalismus,« which will be released in July.
