CHASING BUTTERFLIES / MIRAR / JOGO DE DENTRO

The artists of ATTITUDES’ second production series present their three brand-new works at a shared evening event. Majeko – the collective of internationally celebrated dancers Kaide, Mackie, and Fredrika – unites street dance excellence with captivating performance. In CHASING BUTTERFLIES, they explore the conflict between being and striving in a productivity-obsessed world: Where is the balance between becoming and simply existing? The trio IronSkulls Co has been merging the energy of street dance with the subtlety of contemporary dance since 2013. In MIRAR, they interrogate the dynamic between observer and observed— how perception transforms and reshapes the way we see the world and exist within it. JOGO DE DENTRO (litteraly translated as "the inner game") is the first performance co-writed by Kaê Brown Carvalho and Jerson Diasonama. Inspired by an Angolan capoeira game and rooted in Black Lusophone culture from Brazil and Angola, the duo’s artistic expression explores their shared heritage, transporting us into a sensory, dreamlike universe.
