Ghostbusters

In the middle of Hamburg’s foggy, dark November, Ursina Tossi and her team present a dance piece that will give you goosebumps. GESPENSTER is about moments of haunting in which familiar reality is suddenly shaken, past and present briefly overlap and physical perception and the senses suddenly expand and intensify. The performers transform themselves into ghost hunters and the hunted, collecting ghostly things from experiences of the body, life and violence. GESPENSTER is a play with integrated audio description for young and adult people with and without visual impairments.

Four people with colourfully patterned clothes and wild eye make-up kneel in front of each other. Two bump their heads against each other, the other two twist their mouths into snarling grimaces and their hands into claws.

One person is leaning their upper body against the back of another person, their face close to the back of the person's head. A white sheet is behind and partly in front of them. The scene appears intimate. One person has their eyes closed.

Five arms of four people are folded and crossed in front of a white sheet. Two of the people to whom the arms belong can be seen. One is in front of the sheet and bent backwards. The other is behind the sheet, only her head is visible.

The face of a person. There is a white sheet around it and asphalt in the background at the top of the picture. The person has dark hair and their mouth is open. It looks as if they're falling or tilting. They're looking down, perhaps towards the ground.

Two people are resting their heads with their chins on the shoulders of a third person. All three seem to be rolling their eyes so that you can only see the whites of their eyeballs. There is light smoke or fog in front of them. All three have dark hair.
