Workshop: Artistic Audio Description

Dance and performance projects with artistic audio description regularly take place at Kampnagel. These audio descriptions not only claim to “report” what is happening on stage, but also offer an exciting experience for the audience, expand artistic expression and stand on an equal footing with other aesthetic means. Two workshops in April 2024 invite blind and visually impaired artists and audience members as well as sighted performers who are interested in creating artistic audio descriptions. The workshops will be led by Fia Neises, Naomi Sanfo, Ursina Tossi and Zwoisy Mears-Clarke.
