Nordwind Festival

Festival for the arts from Northern Europe and Russia

The NORDWIND blows through Kampnagel once again. The biggest German festival for performing arts and music in the North enters its third year. Alongside Hamburg, the festival also plays in Berlin, Dresden and Bern and presents outstanding artistic pieces from Scandinavia, Iceland, the Baltic and this year for the first time from Russia. The programme includes the world’s first retrospective on the radical artist Pjotr Pawlenski, who has gained international fame with his spectacular campaigns. Meanwhile Kampnagel regular Erna Òmarsdóttir is back here for the fourth time with her stunning choreography in BLACK MARROW, as well as Andrej Sowlatschkow and Michael Patlasow, who are putting the neo-fascism in Russia under the microscope, the rising star of the Finnish performance scene Elina Pirinen with PERSONAL SYMPHONIC MOMENT and many more.
