Escort and pick-up service
Our cooperation partner Hamburger Kulturschlüssel (German only) arranges escorts (from home, to the events and back) and free tickets if required. Registration with Kulturschlüssel is necessary.
Accessible events
We have various accessible offers in our programme, such as audio description and tactile tours for blind and visually impaired guests, sign language translation, early boarding and relaxed performances for guests with sensory, mental impairments or neurodivergence.
In our large halls k1, k2 and k6, induction loops are permanently installed in the auditorium for users with hearing aids and can be used on all seats in the audience gallery – only in the first and last rows is the signal somewhat limited.
We also offer alternative seating in the form of comfortable beanbags in the first row. These are installed as standard in halls p1, k1 and k2.

Trigger warnings and other info
In our description texts we often do not give detailed info about what happens on stage. We do this because many visitors like to be surprised. At the same time, we know that certain themes, images, sounds and effects can be difficult for many people, especially when they come unannounced. Therefore, to ensure that everyone has a good experience with us, you are welcome to inquire about what is important to you before your visit. To do so, please feel free to contact our communications department: tel: 040 270 949 323 or barrierefreiheit@kampnagel.de. We will then inquire about the productions for you. Of course, this may take a moment, so please make your request a few days before your visit, if possible.
Tickets
Visitors* with a severely disabled pass receive a 50% discount on a Kampnagel event (except concerts). The accompanying person also receives 50% if there is a B in the severely disabled ID. At concerts, there is no discount for visitors with disabilities, but a free ticket for the escort if there is a B in the ID of the person with disabilities. Tickets can be purchased by calling our ticket line at 040 270 949 49, by e-mail at kasse@kampnagel.de or in person at the box office.
- NEW! Registration: Visitors with a severely disabled ID no longer have to present their ID at the box office every time they visit Kampnagel to redeem the discount; instead, they can register once and book Print@Home tickets by phone, e-mail or in the webshop. This saves a trip to the box office. Registration is done by e-mail with a scan of the ID card to kasse@kampnagel.de or on site at the box office outside of peak hours (usually 30 minutes before the start of a performance).
