Experimental sound art and an experimental soundscape for sci-fi film montages. The Danish composer and violist Astrid Sonne originally comes from classical music, but has specialised in electronic compositions for some time now. She combines different musical opposites such as noise or choral singing to create experimental sound art. With her entranced performances she is always a highlight at important festivals for experimental music and will now make her Hamburg debut at the International Summer Festival. CEL is the project of Felix Kubin and the Polish drummer Hubert Zemler. The project is a self-designated experimental laboratory for rhythm loops and electrostatic discharges. The electronic sound range of Kubin is extended by Zemler with vibraphone, xylophone and African percussion. The result is a kind of concentrated restlessness - highly atmospheric, but at the same time demanding and pervaded by ludicrous twists and turns. In Hamburg, they present their same-titled album CEL to pictures of the cinematic sci-fi montage »Juxtalektrovision« by Josephin Böttger, which was developed for the Future Soundscapes Festival (Silent Green, Berlin) in 2018.
