Ballroom Panel on Realness

This panel talk is about the ballroom category “realness”, which stands for “passing”, i.e. the effect of being perceived as a cisgender and heterosexual person and marks the origin of ballroom culture. What characterises the category? What should be considered in the various identities of the category and to what extent AT T I T UDE S is the category relevant then and now and why?
