With a musical background in grindcore and doom metal, Bohren und der Club of Gore crafted a dark maelstrom that has held music enthusiasts in thrall for the past 20 years. Their simplified, uuuultra slowly played and ultra deep jazz is mostly carried by a somber double bass, a Rhodes piano and a shimmering saxophone, and results in lucid soundscapes that often recall the aesthetic of David Lynch.
