POST DIGITAL BODIES is a motion capture workshop by the artist Brig Huezo in the context of the exhibition WE ARE IN HELL WHEN WE HURT EACH OTHER by Jacolby Satterwhite. Participants will create virtual choreographic sequences using motion capture suits and motion capture trackers, learn the basics of the technology in order to experiment with it and integrate it into their own choreographic practice. The workshop will be supported by performance artist Sahra.Zaniah: With her focus on contemporary dance and Vogue Femme, she critically interrogates MoCap technology regarding its potential to empower marginalised perspectives, bodies and styles in dance.
