Berlin based Amparo Battaglia aka Catnapp has long since arrived in pop culture with her radically experimental sound, providing the soundtrack to Netflix productions such as “Unorthodox” or “How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast)”. On her latest album, “TRUST” Catnapp explores the dimensions between dream pop, experimental club music and noise – countering the wasteland of the pandemic years with a genre-busting energy explosion of hip-hop, R&B, rave or nu-metal influences. The album was released on Monkeytown Records, whose owner, the duo Modeselektor, is also featured twice on it. With the trippy, wafting track “the way back” they have virtually set to music the return to the dance floor: a bouncing contribution to experimental club music, with which it goes on immediately after the concert under the slogan excess all-nightlong. Line-up: Coco Cobra, Doxan back-to-back Aii PS.
