2014 was the first time Dada Masilo was at Kampnagel. She triggered veritable public euphoria with her interpretation of »Swan Lake«. Since then, the South African choreographer has become internationally known for her dance productions of great ballet classics. With THE SACRIFICE, inspired by Igor Stravinsky's »Spring Sacrifice«, she combines the European heritage of this monumental piece with the traditional dance of Tswana from Botswana, which is characterized by its unique rhythm and expression.
