Dance critic Wiebke Hüster once called the French-Belgian choreographer Damien Jalet "the shooting star of contemporary dance", who creates "sculptural worlds of images" with his choreographies. Planet [Wanderer] is a visionary Gesamtkunstwerk that combines his aesthetic world with that of the Japanese visual artist Kohei Nawa.

In a dream-like choreography that seems to be chiselled into the black, glittering ground, they question the fragile relationship of human beings to the earth - and in doing so shift the boundaries between dance and visual art, sculptures in motion or sculptural dance.
