Destroyer

In the early ‘90s, Dan Bejar launched Destroyer as a home-recorded solo project in Vancouver. Since then, he has released music with various collaborators, worked with visual artists like Kara Walker and played his way through a variety of styles, from glam-pop to blues, cocaine rock and other esoteric genres. After excursions with The New Pornographers, he has now expanded Destroyer into an eight-person (chamber-music) ensemble. The band is now coming to Hamburg in this form to present its new album, »ken,« which was released on October 20th.
