Eine queere Gedenkgala
Wir leben. Wir kämpfen. Für Glück & Liebe
Dates
5/19/26
7:30 PM
Queer history shines. This evening is a celebration of queer joy, community, and the creative force that carries our stories through time. We give space to voices the Nazis tried to silence — and we let them speak again.
Queer lives have always been more than the hostility they faced.
They are rich, complex, and full of feeling — stories of resilience, tenderness, creativity, and the courage to exist.
Through art, poetry, and music, we open a space where these voices can be heard in their own words. We listen, we feel, we remember — and we connect with their inner worlds, their emotions, their lives.
Join us for a gala featuring and honoring figures such as Liddy Bacroff, Ovida Delect, Hannah Höch, Bruno Balz, Sylvin Rubinstein, Anita Rée, and many more. Together, we reflect on (in)visibility, queer resistance, and the power of remembrance.
An evening for queers and allies.
An evening to remember.
Among the people we highlight are individuals who identified as queer, as well as others whose lives, relationships, or forms of expression can be understood today as part of queer history.
Performances by: Blessless Mahoney, Daniel & Tim Stolte, Joelle Mesen-Ramirez, Maria Babusch & Yohan Holtkamp, René*e Reith, Paul Ninus Naujoks, Didine van der Platenvlotbrug and many more.
