Why is it so difficult to admit political and personal mistakes? Why are they scandalised in politics? Politicians talk about failure, our culture of mistakes and whether it would not strengthen democracy if politics and the public dealt with mistakes differently. The Corona pandemic has shown that this reflection is urgently needed. We ask: What can we learn from mistakes? How can we achieve a different, a more constructive error culture in politics? The first Hamburg "Fuck-up Night for Democracy" lays the foundation for a political error culture beyond ridicule and malice, offers space for questions and a joint discussion afterwards in the foyer.
