18:00 ESTRELLAS DE CARLA ESTRELLAS DE CARLA around charismatic performer Carla Riveros is a burlesque mambo garage explosion for all those who have always wanted to dance on the volcano. Divine meets Celia Cruz, more costume changes per song than the doctor allows. »Feathers, sequins, Tijuana style, striptease and bling-bling culminate in an incredibly sexy, glittery, swaying, groovy (yes, really) performance with the radiant Carla as the overmother who made everyone firmly believe: I too can dance the rumba«, writes Kaput Magazine.
20:30 – 21:30 ASHRAF SHARIF KHAN & VIKTOR MAREK Long-time Kampnagel accomplices Ashraf Sharif Khan and Viktor Marek are twins from different continents which were separated at birth. Both got reunited by the infamous music satellite during one of its few circumnavigations to teach us an extra-planetary hip swing. Their current album »Sufi Dub Brothers« is testimony to that meteoric coincidence and gathers the nearly complete material of this musical sensation. An elusive »Sufistep« between hip-hop, acid, electro and dub meets a masterful sitar performance.

20:00 – 21:00 LES TRUCS The electronic human-machine orchestra Les Trucs consists of the artists and now also label operators Charlotte Simon and Zink Tonsur, as well as various, sometimes self-built equipment. They perform in self-organized punk places, art and theatre spaces or techno clubs all over Europe. At the intersection of music, politics and performative art, they are primarily interested in overcoming the boundaries existing in between these realms. At Kampnagel, Les Trucs were most recently part of the Greatest Show on Earth at the 2016 Summer Festival, performing as a circus band.

FESTIVAL AVANT-GARTEN INFO
Like last year, Hamburg's pearl of pleasure parks will be designed by JASCHA&FRANZ - conceptually accompanied by the long-time festival associated performance group JAJAJA and extended by a Waldbühne by Urs Amadeus Ulbrich and Gras & Steine. With references to fun fairs and theme parks and with a concept for accessibility, the Festival Avant-Garden offers various areas with installations, performances, culinary delights from the Peacetanbul Restaurant and a daily changing program on several open-air stages and the Migrantpolitan building (details in the program overview).
Capacity is limited due to the pandemic and access is only possible with a personalized ticket (3€, available in advance and at the box office). With a ticket for another festival performance on the same evening you can enter the garden for free - as long as there is enough capacity, otherwise there might be bridgeable waiting times. Seated areas in front of the various garden stages will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Details about hygiene rules on site will be published here in due time.
HERE you will find all the latest information and Corona rules for your visit.
