The Fusion Dance Battle is going into the third round. After the first live event that brought the large K6 hall at Kampnagel to the boil and an online version that connected dancers from all over the world, the fusion between different styles such as hip hop, house, voguing and contemporary to ballet continues under the motto »Endless Forms of Creativity«. Ben Wichert, internationally successful dancer, choreographer and artistic director of the HipHopAcademy Hamburg, the renowned dancers Willie Stark, Nadja Häussler and the Kampnagel dance curator Melanie Zimmermann think fusion on all levels and have also invited the jury members to perform as part of the crews on the »Stage«. Together with live performances by renowned DJs and vocals, the event will be an innovative, cross-genre evening that inspires and focuses strongly on exchange and artistic diversity. All styles are welcome!
Schedule: On the evening before, all dancers and battle candidates will be invited to a »Cypher Preselection«. For those who have progressed, the creative exchange »Crew Lab« will continue on Saturday morning. Afterwards, not only they but also all other participants and dance enthusiasts can warm up in the »Creative Exchange Jam«, which leads into the final battle. The winners will be rewarded with prize money of 2000 euros.
