Monika Gintersdorfer and Knut Klaßen’s German-Ivorian team of outspoken individualists are performing CHEFFERIE. ‘Chefferie’ is the term used to describe a political and administrative union, which existed in Africa prior to colonisation, and which is paralleled today in the state organisations continuing to work by their own principles: too many chiefs – not enough Indians. In NEUEN SCHWARZEN DENKEN (NEW BLACK THINKING) the core team will be joined on the open stage by artists from the Democratic Republic of Congo, from Rwanda and from the Netherlands.
