For the first time in Europe, the performance of the Chilean young artist and plus-size model Habib de la Jara can be seen at Kampnagel. His solo performance BRUTA deals with stereotypes of body images and ideals of beauty. It is a proposal that invites us to question hegemonic discourses on the aesthetics of a dancingbody, and to reflect on what we consider fixed or transient in psychological, physical and identity states.
