Hauschka & Kai Angermann
Konzert in Kooperation mit Elbphilharmonie Hamburg
Past dates
Musician Volker Bertelmann aka Hauschka experimentally expands horizons in many fields: The Düsseldorf based composer and pianist was nominated for an Academy award, he recorded an album with violinist Hillary Hahn and he wrote pieces for symphony orchestra. Last year he sold out the large hall of the Elbphilharmonie with a solo piano evening and developed a large stage piece with the choreographer Aszure Barton at the Kampnagel Summer Festival. Originally, the Summer Festival had planned a film concert with Hauschka as one of three cooperation concerts in and with the Elbphilharmonie. Although these concerts had to be cancelled due to the general restrictions for public performances in response to Covid-19, Hauschka will now play a duo concert with percussionist Kai Angermann and without an audience in the Great Hall of the Elbphilharmonie. The concert will be available as a live stream on the Internet and as a live broadcast at the Elbphilharmonie Concert Cinema on the Platz der Deutschen Einheit.
