The artistic research project [IN]OPERABILITIES links the art form of opera with the question of its accessibility, the possibilities of inclusive work and the usefulness of “opera-abilities” for living together. This workshop is dedicated to touch and touchability in music theatre and explores haptic and physical forms of perception and appearance of music, voice, sound and resonance. The workshop [IN]OPERABILITIES #2 is aimed at people working in the field of music or performing arts and invites to engage with multisensory performance practices and storytelling.

  • Registration by 30.11.2022 to in.operabilities[at]posteo.de with a short info about your own work focus. The number of participants is limited, which is why it will probably not be possible to consider all applications. Registrations or cancellations will be accepted until 05.12.2022.

  • We reserve the right to make adjustments due to current regulations on the containment of the Corona pandemic.

  • The workshop is free of charge, obligatory attendance for the entire duration is requested.

  • If travel and accommodation costs are a barrier for you to attend the workshop, we may be able to reimburse them. Please contact us via the above mentioned email address!

  • Participants with disabilities will be considered in their individual needs. We will discuss individually which assistance or aids are needed and how the framework can be adapted.

The [in]operabilities workshop is supported by the Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
