BOY DIVISION – THE QUIZ

Even a “normal” concert by the Hamburg band BOY DIVISION quickly turns into a fun music quiz for some, since it’s not always easy to recognize the originals of their sometimes idiosyncratically reworked songs. This “necessity” soon became a virtue: BOY DIVISION, active for nearly 30 years and featured at every Theater Night at Kampnagel since 2010 with a wide variety of programs, have devised and presented various music quiz formats over the years. A compact retrospective will be presented exclusively this evening at the Bunker on Feldstraße, garnished with a surprise or two. And so the audience is offered the always welcome opportunity to put the knowledge accumulated over the course of their lives—and which is, unfortunately, relatively useless—to good use in a fun and rewarding way. In addition to the classic “Songpantomime,” you can also expect quiz categories such as artist names, cover versions, fictional weddings, and song lyrics read through a megaphone.
