Bunte Luft Trio

The Bunte Luft Trio is a Hamburg-based improvisation group that has developed a distinctive sound with Tam Thi Pham on the Vietnamese zither đàn bầu, baritone saxophonist Jana De Troyer, and Jan Wegmann on modular synthesizer. Their latest album, XERONEMA, takes its inspiration from the plant genus of the same name, combining the sonic equivalent of lush blossoms with vividly colored spikes.
