HIDDEN BODY is a choreographic project fathoming the intercultural territories in relation to traditions and contemporary dance in Korea and Europe. The project deals with the symbiotic nature of the past, tradition and memory, in general and in contemporary art. The objective is to reinterpret existing concepts and to attempt to pick out Korean and European traditions in contemporary dance. Beginning with critical observation of traditional and contemporary developments in Korea and Europe, there emerges a hypothesis as to how dance could look in the year 2089.
